An Introduction

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. My name is Misty. I am a wife and mother of three beautiful children. I have been working in public schools for the past 7 years in different capacities including as media clerk and as an Elevate K-12 classroom coach and technology assistant. I am working towards becoming a school librarian and after this semester will only have my internships to complete.

Outside of my work in education I work with the girls at my church teaching about missions and ministry. I have also coached Girls on the Run at my school for the past 3 years which is an organization that helps girls in grades 3-8 develop self confidence, team building, and stress management skills. I enjoy hiking, photography, and crocheting, and my undergraduate degree is in Music.

I look forward to completing this degree and seeing where God leads me next.
